HHU Paddle the Skunk
Join Hook & Hunt University for a guided paddling trip on the Skunk River. This event is open to all ages and abilities and is a great way to experience one of our local waterways with the support of experienced paddlers.
Participants will enjoy a scenic paddle on the Skunk River, with a light lunch and water provided along the way. We will launch at Cottonwood loop (Welter Recreation area), and pull out at Indian path. Space is limited and registration is required.

Kayak rental: $50
Canoe rental: $50
Bring your own kayak: $40

The Muscatine Triathlon

The Muscatine Triathlon, presented by Sqwincher®, will feature a Sprint Class event tailored for both seasoned athletes and newcomers to the triathlon scene. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Deep Lakes Park in Muscatine, Iowa, this thrilling event kicks off with a 750-meter swim, will transition to a 12.4-mile bike ride, and complete the triathlon with a 5K run.

Prefer to skip an obstacle? No problem—designated paths will allow you to bypass any challenge while still enjoying the course. Only service animals are permitted at this event.

Night Creek Stomp

Explore the hidden mysteries of the creek under the enchanting night sky, surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature.

Come equipped with water shoes and headlamps, you'll embark on a guided journey through the creek bed. As you traverse the cool waters, you'll discover a whole new world teeming with life after dark. Listen to the enchanting chorus of frogs, witness the mesmerizing dance of fireflies, and encounter other nocturnal creatures along the way.
