Spring Wildflower Hike

Get ready to explore the wild side! Join us on Thursday, April 2nd, from 5:00–6:30 PM for a guided Wildflower Hike at Big Hollow Recreation Area. We’ll meet at the campground playground before heading out on an adventure to discover the edible (and not-so-edible!) plants growing all around us.
During this hands-on hike, you’ll learn how to safely identify common spring wildflowers, common wild edibles, hear fun facts about their uses, and gain a deeper appreciation for the natural world right at your feet. Whether you're a curious beginner or just love being outdoors, this program is a great way to connect with nature in a whole new way.
This is a free event. No registration is required, but it is highly encouraged. Register here. 
Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water. Come ready to walk, learn, and maybe even see your surroundings a little differently!

Ladies Adventure Group Spring Wildflower Hike

Ladies 18+, get ready to uncover nature’s hidden treasures! On Tuesday, April 7th, from 5:00–6:30 PM, join our Ladies Adventure Group for a guided Wildflower Hike at Big Hollow Recreation Area. We’ll gather at the campground playground before setting off to explore the spring plants growing all around us.
This women-only adventure is a perfect mix of outdoor fun, learning, and connection. You’ll discover how to identify common spring wildflowers, common spring edible plants, hear fascinating tidbits about their uses, and experience the forest in a whole new way. It’s a chance to stretch your legs, spark your curiosity, and share the adventure with other like-minded ladies.
