IT Director
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DIRECTOR
Des Moines County is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Information Technology Director. The position is responsible for managing the IT Department and all employees within. Provide Technology policies and standards for County Technology users, Technology Equipment, Software and Networks(s) to ensure the integrity of the Des Moines County Computer System(s) and data. Responsible for final approval of all technology that is to be connected, directly or indirectly to the County Network. Responsible for final approval of all software that is to be installed on County Computers maintained by the IT Department or that are installed or connected, directly or indirectly to the County Network. Works directly with other County Department Heads and elected officials to determine technology needs within their departments. This position is under direct supervision of the Des Moines County Board of Supervisors.
Job Requirements Include:
BS in Computer Science or minimum of 7 Years Management / Project Management Experience in an IT Related Field
Required HIPAA Security Officer Role and all duties necessary
Strong Public Relations skills and able to delegate tasks to IT Staff members
Knowledge of CJIS/HIPAA Requirements and NCIC Certified within 6 months of hire date
Willing and able to pass random drug tests when / if requested by the Des Moines County Board of Supervisors
Must complete a Des Moines County Employment Application to be considered for employment

Availability
Full Time: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Salary: $108,000 - $120,000 plus benefits
Salary negotiable based on experience
